Chocolate Chip Brownies

Jump to Recipe

Are you team fudgy brownies or team cakey brownies!? I’m usually team fudgy, but these are cakey and I’m digging it! My sister and I are totally obsessed with these brownies and fought over the last one (of course, I got it). These Chocolate Chip Brownies are gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free. They’re seriously the best!

I wanted to make a delicious brownie recipe that didn’t require any bananas, sweet potatoes, applesauce, etc. So many “healthy” brownie recipes require those ingredients, but honestly, I just don’t always have them on hand. These chocolate chip brownies only require a handful of ingredients, and I’m telling you, they are seriously my new FAVORITE recipe. I’ll definitely be making them again!

Kiva Health Food Cacao Powder

I absolutely LOVE the cacao powder from Kiva Health Food. It’s a huge bag for a great price! PLUS I have a discount code, “SPRINKLINGOFHEALTH15OFF” which allows you to get 15% off this product!

Making the Brownies

All you need to make these brownies are the ingredients listed above, two bowls, a spoon, parchment paper, a brownie pan, and of course, an oven.

Start off by combining the almond flour, coconut sugar, cacao powder, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, combine the eggs, melted coconut oil, almond milk, and vanilla extract.

Fold the dry ingredients into the wet, then add the chocolate chips in. That’s it! Pour the batter into a parchment-lined brownie pan and you’re on your way to delicious and fudgy brownies.

Make sure you let the brownies cool completely before slicing them. I sliced mine into 9 large brownies, but you can cut them into 12 smaller ones if you prefer.

Ways to Serve

I love these brownies on their own, but they are also amazing served with ice cream, Greek yogurt, whipped cream, or with a big dollop of peanut butter.

How Should I Store These?

These chocolate chip brownies are best kept in the refrigerator for up to one week (if they last that long), or in the freezer for one year. I love to eat them straight from the fridge, but you can also heat them up in the microwave for a few seconds.
