Pancakes on a Sunday are a must for me. Does anyone else correlate the weekends with brunch? I had some ripe bananas that have seen better days lying around my kitchen. I love blending them into pancake batter, but I wanted to mix it up a bit. In case you’re new around here, I am a huge fan of the chocolate + banana + peanut butter combination. Why not make chocolate banana pancakes!? These healthy chocolate banana pancakes were absolutely delicious and tasted like a Reeses’ with the peanut butter drizzled on top. They are gluten, dairy and sugar-free, so everyone can enjoy them!
When I started cooking these pancakes, my whole house smelled like a chocolate peanut butter cup, with a hint of banana. If you really think about it, it’s kind of like chocolate banana bread in pancake form. I can definitely get used to that for breakfast. Pancakes have to be one of my favorite brunch foods because of how sweet and tasty they are. The only thing I don’t love is how sluggish I feel after eating them. No need to worry with these chocolate banana pancakes, because the only sugar comes from the banana, so you won’t be having any sugar crashes!
