Back with another Amazon essentials post! In case you missed it, you can read about my top 13 Amazon beauty essentials, here. I’m sure it’s obvious by now, but I love to cook and bake. Being in the kitchen is like a form of therapy for me. Experimenting with new recipes and different ways to incorporate my favorite foods into dishes is a passion of mine. In order to feed this passion, I definitely need some good cooking supplies. Amazon has amazing kitchen products that are affordable, effective, and actually work. Read more to learn about what my top 10 amazon kitchen essentials are that I always have in my kitchen!
Does anyone else enjoy cooking, but sometimes gets scared or intimidated by the difficulty or supplies required? Yeah, me too. I’ve learned that there is a product for just about every kitchen skill you may need to perform for a recipe. There’s cherry pitters, lemon squeezers, avocado huggers…you name it, they have it! It truly does make my time in the kitchen so much more enjoyable when I have products that I know will get the job done and cut the cooking time in half. It’s also an added plus when they can be delivered to your door the next day with Amazon!
Investing in Products
Most of the products I am going to mention in my top 10 Amazon kitchen essentials are very reasonably priced. There are some bigger products that may look expensive, but can be used forever. I truly believe in investing in good quality products that may seem expensive at first, but end up lasting you a lifetime. There’s nothing worse than buying a $5 pan because it looks like a good deal in the moment, but ends up breaking after a month. Instead of constantly buying new, cheaper items, try and invest in one item that is a little pricier but will last you for the long haul.
With that being said, take a look at my top 10 Amazon kitchen essentials that are always in my kitchen!

1. Magic Bullet
I’ve had my Magic Bullet since I began college in 2016 and it’s still with me! This has been one of my best investments because of how portable, durable, and versatile it is. Of course, I use it for smoothies, but it’s also great for making your own oat flour, blending pancake batter (check out my banana pancake recipe, and chocolate pancake recipe here), and making mixed drinks. The set that I purchased comes with a variety of lids, containers, and colors. One of my best investments!
2. Instant Pot
If you guys haven’t cooked with a pressure cooker yet, you’re missing out. My mom received hers as a gift a few years ago and it has been a family favorite ever since. All you need to do is throw the ingredients in, and let the pressure cooker do the rest. You may be thinking, how is it different from a slow cooker? A slow cooker takes about 6 hours to cook chicken, where a pressure cooker takes 30 minutes. And yes, it’s just as juicy and tender! Some of my favorite things to make in my Instant Pot are salmon (3 minutes!), quinoa, chicken, meatballs, dips, and my mom’s roast beef. It’s perfect for meal prep!
3. KitchenAid Stand Mixer
Another kitchen favorite. This one is definitely an investment. It comes with a hefty price, but I can guarantee that it will last you forever. In all honesty, I wish I used this more than I did. Whenever I bake and use this mixer, it makes my life 10x easier. Sometimes I’m just in a rush and totally forget about it, but regret it afterward. It’s great for making cookies, muffins, and bread. My mom makes homemade mashed potatoes in here that are to die for. I’ve also seen someone shred cooked chicken with the whisk attachment…very creative!
4. Lemon squeezer
Have you ever gone to squeeze a lemon or lime, and end up picking all the seeds out of your lemon water? Yup, me too. This lemon squeezer will be the answer to your prayers and allows you to say goodbye to stray seeds once and for all. It also helps you squeeze out every last drop of lemon juice, so you’re not wasting anything. I love incorporating fresh lemon juice into pasta dishes and baked goods. My greek yogurt chicken salad recipe incorporates fresh lemon juice and it’s amazing! My lemon squeezer definitely made an appearance in that one.
5. Popcorn bowl
Popcorn is such an easy and mindless snack food that is perfect for college students. I may or may not have eaten a whole bag watching a movie and didn’t even realize it… Even though it’s such an easy snack, it can be expensive! One bag has about 3-4 servings and can cost around $3. That’s a lot once you add up how many bags of popcorn you go through. Instead, you can purchase a giant jar of popcorn kernels and a popcorn bowl and make your own in minutes! You can add whatever flavors and mix-ins you like, plus it’s nice and warm right from the microwave. This could not be any easier and saves you SO much money.
6. Muffin tin
Muffins are a go-to baking recipe of mine. You can pretty much transform anything into muffins. Check out my favorite vegan peanut butter banana muffins, here. Brownies, banana bread, cookies… the list goes on. Having a good muffin tin that can withstand all the recipes and baking it endures is essential in any kitchen. I usually use muffin liners when I make muffins, but sometimes I just spray it with non-stick cooking spray and I’m good to go!
7. Tea kettle
I purchased a tea kettle during my freshman year of college because I loved drinking tea, but didn’t have access to a kitchen or microwave in my room (I know, tragic). All you have to do is plug it in and wait a few minutes before you have a pot of boiling water! It’s so convenient because you don’t need to worry about burning yourself in the microwave, or pulling out a pot to put on the stove. It takes absolutely no time at all before you have fresh boiling water for your tea, coffee, oatmeal, or lemon water! I used my tea kettle to boil water to soak my dates for this amazing cashew chocolate chip date bar recipe!
8. Mason jars
So trendy, right!? Mason jars are convenient, inexpensive, and adorable! Besides making great dorm decor, mason jars are the perfect containers for transporting food on-the-go. Last year, I had math class at 9:00 am every day, so I would make overnight oats the night before in my mason jar, and bring it to class every morning. You don’t need to worry about anything spilling out because they are pretty much vacuum-sealed shut. Mason jars are also great for storing homemade sauces, dressings, and jams because it keeps them airtight!
9. Toaster
Pretty basic, I know. Toasters are a kitchen essential that I, personally, cannot go without. Avocado toast and frozen waffles are staples in my diet, so I rely heavily on a toaster to get the job done. I find 2-slice toasters to be way more convenient than a toaster oven because they are quicker and get whatever you’re toasting nice and crispy. This toaster is great because I toast my bread and waffles from the freezer with no issues. No defrosting needed! Check out my lemon ricotta toast, here!
10. Panini press
I absolutely love my panini press. I received it as a gift when I was in high school and it has lasted me for many, many years. It only takes about 2 minutes to heat up and can really get a sandwich nice and crispy. It’s so much more convenient than heating up a pan and waiting for your sandwich to cook on there. I made a vegetarian honey mustard “chick’n” panini recipe which was so good! One of my all-time favorite sandwiches to make in my panini press is a Thanksgiving leftovers sandwich. All you need is some sourdough bread and ALL the Thanksgiving leftovers. It’s one of my absolute favorite foods to eat.
I hope that you guys enjoyed reading about my top 10 Amazon kitchen essentials and try some for yourself! They make my life a whole lot easier and really get the job done. If you’re a college student, there are definitely some items here that will help you out immensely. If you’re someone who is scared of the kitchen, these items will be a lifesaver.
